Officers across South Texas were on the lookout for a youthful couple wanted in connection with the theft of 19.5 gallons of gasoline from a Mullin’s Prairie Store gas pump. Sheriff T.J. Flournoy, who was notified of the crime about 7 a.m. Wednesday, said the pair made a hurried getaway. They were thought to have breezed through Weimar, then Schulenburg and on toward Hallettsville.
