Henry F. Bertsch, Jr
Henry F. Bertsch, Jr., 89, of Industry, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2014 at Kruse Memorial Lutheran Village in Brenham. Henry was born in La Grange on March 5, 1925, the son of Henry Bertsch, Sr. and Emilie (Zajicek) Bertsch. He married Deloris “Dollie” Heinecke on June 8, 1952 in Plum. Henry served in the U.S. Army during WWII from 1945- 1947. Henry and Dollie owned and operated Henry’s Place in Industry for 35 years and he also worked as a barber. He is survived by daughter, Lizabeth “Libby” Weidner of Katy; two sons: Leonard Bertsch of Houston and Henry F. Bertsch III of Burleigh; three grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents and wife, Dollie, of 58 years; two sisters and three brothers. held at Industry United Methodist Church, 1914 Main St. in Industry at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014. Burial will follow at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery.
