Doris Glenn, 66, of Spring died Aug. 12, 2014 in Houston. Visitation was held Saturday, Aug. 16, 2014 from 12 to 7 p.m.

at Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange. The family received visitors from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services were held

Sunday, Aug. 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton. Interment followed at Florida Chapel Cemetery in Round Top. Doris is survived by one daughter, Dayna Melton; mother, Lollie Dittmar; brother, Larry Tiedt; sister, Rebecca Kunkel; four grandchildren, Stephen, Chelsea, Lindsay and Jeffrey; two great-grandchildren, Jessie and Clara; and numerous nieces and nephews and friend Wesley Wittenborn. She was preceded in death by her father: Lorenz Tiedt, brother: Everette Tiedt, and sister: Marylin Tiedt. Doris was born on Sept. 11, 1947 in Burton. She was a customer service representative for a software company for over twenty years. She was an avid reader of mystery novels. Family was important to her and she would tell you how much she loved her grandchildren. She was also a huge  eorge Strait fan. Family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
