Delroy Gross

Delroy Gross, 69, of Industry, died on Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Zaskoda Chapel, 2280 Main St., Industry. Family received friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Services were held at Industry United Methodist Church, 1914 Main St., Industry, TX at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014. Burial followed at Pilgrim’s Rest Cemetery. Delroy was born in La Grange on September 7, 1944, the son of Roy and Leona (Minar) Gross. He married Dorothy Frank in November, 1974 at Industry United Methodist Church. Delroy worked as a truck driver for Huebner Concrete for over 49 years. He was a member of Industry United Methodist Church, Industry Volunteer Fire Department, Sharecropper’s Antique Farm Equipment Club, Woodmen of the World and Sons of Hermann. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 39 years; son,

Dwayne Gross and wife, Emily, of New Ulm; granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Gross; sister-inlaw, Carol Gilbert and husband, Melvin of Houston; brother-inlaw, Wilbert Frank and wife, Debbie of New Ulm; two nieces and one nephew; and numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dustin Gross; brother, Harold Gross; father-inlaw and mother-in-law, Wilbert “Candy” and Louise Frank.
