Second Tax Hearing Held

The second and last of two public hearings on keeping the 2014 county tax rate of $0.4193 to fund the budget for 2015 was held prior to the regular meeting of the Fayette County commissioners’ court Sept. 8. One person spoke in favor of leaving the tax rate the same and one spoke against. Commissioners will vote on the rate at their regular meeting Sept. 22.
