Jeffrey William Nelsen

A celebration of the life of Jeffrey William Nelsen, 61, of Giddings will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 18, 2014 at Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings. He died on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2014 after a brief illness. Jeffrey William Nelsen was born in Kenosha, Wisc. on May 4, 1953 but came to Texas as soon as he could. For more than 25 years, Jeff worked in the tree service industry. He was a passionate computer gamer, having risen to the highest levels in Diablo. His other love was bowling. The highlight of his bowling career was winning a championship ring and jacket. Jeff is survived by his daughter, Danielle Robbins of Houston; his brother, Tim Nelsen of La Grange; his sister, Shari Durrett, of Houston and his two grandchildren, Lilliana Munoz and Sam Robertson of Houston.
