Sharon Ullrich “Bitsy” Lett

Sharon Ullrich “Bitsy” Lett, 60, widow of Tony Lett, died Nov. 4, 2014 in Bryan. Funeral services were held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Carmine. Pastor David Tinker officiated. Burial followed in the
Carmine Cemetery. Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Friday evening at Memorial Oaks Chapel. Bitsy Lett was born March
29, 1954 in Brenham to Otto A. Jr. and Gladys Werchan Ullrich. She was baptized and confirmed at Martin Luther Lutheran Church of Carmine, where she was married to Tony Lett on Sept. 9, 1972. After completing her education, Bitsy  was employed as   direct care provider, serving the needs of patients in this area.  Bitsy was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Her family was everything to her, and she was the rock and constant source of strength for the family at all times. Her faith in God was unshakeable, and she praised Him in all times sharing stories of His work in her life. 
Her charismatic and fun spirit was contagious, and she had kind and compassionate heart for others. She was persistent in her battle with cancer, never giving up hope or faith in God’s ultimate plan for her life. She will be forever missed by many and will live in their hearts forever. Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Tiffany and  Keith Brooks, Tasha and Jason Ladewig, all of Brenham, and Charity and Bradley Shiflett of Tomball; grandchildren, Avery and Addison Brooks, Jayden and Jacob Ladewig, Wyatt, Blair Shiflett, and soon to arrive Weston Shiflet, and Alexa Lett Mulder; brother and sisterin- law, Douglas and Sedalia Ullrich; sister and brother-in-law, Fritzi and Anson Jones, all of Carmine; brother-in-law, Charlie Adamcik; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Sherry and Terry Maxwell; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Wallace and Vicki Johnson; aunt, Lollie Dittmar, and father-in-law, Billy Starnes. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Tony Lett; daughter, Heather Lett, 
sister Carole Adamcik, motherin- law Jody Starnes, and sisterin- law Lafonda Sanchez. Serving as pallbearers are Keith Brooks, Jason Ladewig, Bradley Shiflett, Doug Ullrich, Scott Barnes, Kyler Kieke, Kaden Kieke, Billy Maxwell, Jake Maxwell, and Kamren Northrup.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Alexa Jade Lett Education Fund,  Hospice Brazos Valley, or to Martin Luther Lutheran Church.
