Bessie Frances Trlicik

Bessie Frances Trlicik, 98, of La Grange, died on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014 at St. Mark’s Medical  Center in La Grange.

Visitation was held on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2014 from 12 to 7 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Funeral Services were held at Sacred Heart Church, at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 14, 2014. Burial followed at La Grange City Cemetery.

Bessie was born in La Grange, on June 5, 1916, the daughter of Joe Frank Trlicik and Aloisie (Pisklak) Trlicik. Bessie was employed as a Housekeeping Supervisor for Care Inn Nursing Home and retired after twenty years of service. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, SacredHeart Altar Society, KJZT and a charter member of Catholic Daughters of Americas Court Annunciation No. 1962. She is survived by niece, Dottie Ruffeno and husband, Frank, of Dallas; great nephew, John Golding of Houston; four cousins: Dorothy Adams and husband, Chris; Linda Hobratschk and husband, Harvey; Gail Dozier; and Mickey Oeding and husband, Del, all of La Grange. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Raymond and Joseph Trlicik; and two sisters: Sophie Hanson and Wilma Lamb.
