James B. “Bubba” Hruska

James B. “Bubba” Hruska, 93, of La Grange, died Friday, Nov. 14, 2014. Bubba was born in La Grange on Aug. 16, 1921, the son of William C. Hruska and Albina (Krenek) Hruska. Bubba attended school in La Grange and received an  Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Texas. He worked many years in the oil and gas industry; mainly in Texas, Oklahoma and Louisiana. He is survived by niece, Nancy Hruska Becker and family, of Paint Rock; and nephew, John Menke Hruska and family, of San Angelo; and many friends and cousins of La Grange. He was preceded in death  by his parents; and brother, Willie John Hruska.  Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at La Grange City Cemetery.
