Ella Mae Mica

Ella Mae Mica, 88, of Flatonia died Nov. 27, 2014. Ella was born in Engle on Jan. 22, 1926. Her parents are the late Frank Mica and Louise Krhovjak Mica. She was a member  of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a Charter Member

of the American Legion Auxiliary in Flatonia. She is survived by one daughter, Patricia Prihoda and husband Carl of San Antonio; two sons, Harvey Mica and wife Victoria of Seguin and John Mica and wife Marcie of Houston; one sister, Agnes Svatek of Flatonia; 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. Ella is preceded in death by her husband John Mica in November 1954, two daughters, Judy Mica and Bettye Rutledge, son-in-law-Carl Rutledge and two sisters. Visitation began at 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 30, 2014 with a rosary at 7 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services were held at Monday, Dec. 1, 2014 at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Father Eddie Winkler officiated. Burial followed at the Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers were Eric Mica, Jason Mica, Brent Etlinger, Ryan Prihoda, Jack Pavlas, Sam Migl and A. J. Mica.
