Leps Edge Hardin-Jefferson 36-28, Head to State Quarterfinals

THE WOODLANDS – The2014 La Grange football team was tested like never before Friday. They responded like champions. Down by 14 points on two separate occasions, the Leps rallied to beat Hardin-Jefferson 36-28 in a 4A regional semifinal game before a post-Thanksgiving crowd of several thousand at Woodforest Bank Stadium. The victory vaults the Leps (13-0) into the regional finals this Friday against West Orange-Stark (11-2). That game is set for 7:30 p.m. at Conroe’s Moorhead Stadium
