Pearlie Ann Naumann- Wetjen, 77, of West Point, died Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 at Schulenburg Regency Nursing Center. Pearlie was born in Sublime, Texas on Nov. 23, 1937, the daughter of Otto and Emma (Bachause) Sicko. She married  her first husband, Lesley Joe Naumann, on March 1, 1955 and they were married for 50 years when he passed away in July, 2005. Pearlie married her second husband, Leroy Wetjen on June 13, 2008.  Pearlie worked as a cashier for Riverside Grocery in La Grange for several years. She was a very generous and caring person who also served as a caretaker. She is survived by her husband, Leroy Wetjen; three sons:  Roger Allen Naumann and wife, Tina, of Willis; Ronald Ray Naumann and wife, Kimberly, of Fayetteville; and Randy Wayne Naumann and wife, Ednoa, of Muldoon; daughter, Brenda Gale Varner of La Grange; brother: Lester Sicko and wife, Dorothy, of Hallettsville; three sisters: Kathryn Sikes of Port Lavaca; Hallie Eiland of Rockdale; and Loriene Schumacher of Ocean Springs, Miss.; step son, John Wetjen and wife, Linda, of West Point; three step daughters: Joan Ivey and husband, James, of Muldoon; Jan Anderson and husband, Jarvus, of San Antonio; Judy Jordan and husband, Kendle, of  La Verne; twelve grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Lesley Joe Naumann; two brothers and three sisters; and son-inlaw, Michael Varner. First visitation was held on Friday, Dec. 12, 2014 from 3 to 8 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home. Family received friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Second visitation was on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Funeral Services were held at Koenig & Strickland Funeral Home, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13, 2014. Burial followed at Blackjack Cemetery.
