An Orange Candy Cake Christmas

Possibly because of my lack of enthusiasm for her fruit cakes, my Mother acquired a loaf cake recipe from Sara Oeltjen in the late 1960s that uses orange candy slices, instead of candied fruit. Now almost fifty years later, Mom still continues to crank out those delicious Orange Candy Cakes each and every Christmas holiday season!
