Arnold Domin “Spike” Kramr, 90, of Fayetteville died Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2015. Spike was born in Fayetteville on Sept. 13, 1924, the son of Joseph and Mary (Klimek) Kramr. He married Lillian Vaclavik on May 28, 1952 in Fayetteville. Spike served his country as a soldier in the U.S. Navy. After the military, he followed his passion and became a farmer and a rancher. He loved wildlife. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church and KJT. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lillian; son, Ronald James Kramr and wife, Kathleen, of Fayetteville; sister, Dorothy Sury of Ft. Worth; sister-in-law, Sylvia Ann Kramr of Houston; grandchild, Kevin C. Kramr and wife, Tori; two great grandchildren, Wyatt Matthew and Harper Ann Kramr; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leonard Kramr; infant brother, Joseph Kramr; and brother-in-law, Clarence Sury. Visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015 from 12 to 4:30 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland’s Knesek Chapel, 207 Live Oak St. in Fayetteville. Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. A second visitation will be held Friday, Feb. 20, 2015 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Koenig & Strickland’s Knesek Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 209 E. Bell St. in  Fayetteville at 2 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 20, 2015. Burial will follow at Fayetteville Catholic Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Mass, P.O. Box 57, Fayetteville, Texas 78940 or Hospice Brazos Valley, 1048 N. Jefferson, La Grange, Texas 78945.
