‘Sew’ Many Coming for Quilt Show

With every passing year the Colorado Valley Quilt Guild’s Best Little Quilt Show in Texas seems to get bigger and bigger.

It now draws more than 1,000 attendees. This year’s event, the 18th annual, runs Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Fayette County Fairgrounds in La Grange. Meanwhile, quilts are also displayed in store windows all around downtown La Grange. There are also quilt exhibits at Winedale, the Faison Home in La Grange and the Copper Shade Tree in Round Top. And of course there’s the Texas Quilt Museum in Downtown La Grange.
