Belva Anita (Biehl) Hollingsworth,

Belva Anita (Biehl) Hollingsworth, 85, of La Grange, died Monday, Feb. 16, 2015. Belva Biehl was born on March 17, 1929 in Manhattan, Kan., the daughter of a carpenter and a housewife. She attended and graduated college with a Masters in Education, taught Business classes at a Business School in Rapid City, SD, traveled the world as USAF 
spouse, drove the Alcan highway to Alaska and lived there for many years. She taught at East High and Dimond High Schools in Anchorage, and also in Alabama during the integration days, among other places. She was a musician, an artist, poet, baker, seamstress, and had comedic acting skills. Belva lived a very full and diverse life and will be missed.
She is survived by her children, Brenda Knoll of Snook, and J Scott Hollingsworth of Copenhagen, Denmark, their five children, four step children, and 10 great-grandchildren as well as her siblings’ families in Iowa, Kansas and Texas.
