Remember When?

La Grange Independent School District voters approved a proposed $300,000 bond issue by an almost 4-1 majority. In other school news, Jesse D. Rowland was chosen from a final field of six applicants as head athletic coach at La Grange High School. A large barn and its contents of hay and feed on the H.W. Anderson farm, about a half-mile south of Park, were destroyed by fire.
