Dittrich Wins Grand Champion for Commercial Steers at HLSR

Dawson Dittrich of Schulenburg won Grand Champion in the commercial steer category at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo on Tuesday, March 9. Some of the prizes include $2,000 cash, award buckles, trophies, and a $32,000 certificate for a new pickup truck. Schulenburg High School junior Dawson Dittrich turned a pen of steers into a brand new pickup truck at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo this week. Dittrich won grand champion in the junior commercial steer category at the big show in Houston on Tuesday, March 10. He competed against about 170 others from around the state.
