Low Water Crossings Swamped

Between three and five inches of rain fell across the county from Saturday to Monday, March 7-9. Many area ponds and stock tanks spilled over their banks, which sent water rushing through the creeks. Some low water crossings around the county were impassable on Monday such as the one pictured above on Mensik Road at the East Navidad River near Ammannsville.
