Wayne Douglas Kieke

Wayne Douglas Kieke, 63 of Carmine, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at the College Station Medical Center. Wayne was born on July 1, 1951 in Houston, the son of Kermit August Kieke and Fairy Nell (Birkelbach) Kieke. He was a Registered Nurse who worked at area nursing homes for years. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Sammy Bonner of Giddings; three nephews, Keith Bonner, Brian Bonner and his wife, Shana and Shane Bonner all of Mississippi; two great nieces, Ashton Pierce and her husband, Jeremy and Shandi Bonner, all of Mississippi; one great nephew, Kameron Bonner of Mississippi; one great, great nephew, Alden Pierce of Mississippi; uncle and aunts, Dan and Ila Kieke of Burton and Virleen Fischer of Giddings as well as many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Kermit Kieke and Fairy Nell Kieke Behrens. Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at the La Bahia Cemetery in Burton.
