Schulenburg Aldermen Concerned About New Permits, Inspections

At the Schulenburg City Council meeting on Monday, April 20, a few of the aldermen raised concerns about the City’s new building permit and inspection process provided by the Bureau Veritas company. Alderman Larry Veselka requested the item on the meeting agenda after fielding complaints from property owners and contractors over the high cost of construction permits and stringent inspections by Bureau Veritas employees.
