Remember When?

Through the hard work of Louis J. Schroeder, The Moody Foundation of Galveston announced it would make a $40,000 grant to the building fund for Fayette Memorial Hospital. Fayette County 4-H contestants picked up two second places and a third in the Favorite Food Show in Austin. Kathleen Klump of the Round Top-Carmine club placed third in the senior meat food group. On the junior level, Sharon Koenning of Winchester was second in the bread and cereal food group and Eileen Mikus of Fayetteville scored a red ribbon in the milk food group.
