Governor Includes Fayette in Disaster Area

May is typically the wettest month of the year in Fayette County – the long term average is 4.44 inches. But May, 2015 was a recordsetting month for rainfall all over the County. La Grange led the way with 11.91 inches through the 29th. Round Top was at 10.06 inches and Schulenburg tallied 8.63 inches in the same period.
