Clarence Krenek

Clarence Krenek, 84 of Rockdale, died Monday, June 15, 2015 at his home in Rockdale. Clarence Krenek was born Nov. 20, 1930 in Fayetteville to Willie and Christina (Orsak) Krenek. He attended school in Hawcreek and Willowspring schools. On May 5, 1952 he and Lillian Cmajdalka were married in Fayetteville. Then June of that same year he entered the U.S. Army serving until March of 1954. His rank was Sergeant; he served in the Korean Conflict receiving the Purple Heart. Mass was recited at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rockdale. Burial will be in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Fayetteville at 3 p.m. Rev. Ramon Frayna and Deacon Gus Coelho will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Joseph Catholic Church, P.O. Box 548, Rockdale, Texas 76567. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Rockdale was in charge of arrangements.
