Harris “Sandy” Pierce, 68 of Carmine, died July 15, 2015. He was born on March 9, 1947 in Illinois. He enlisted in the U.S. Army and fought in the

Vietnam War. He was a member of the Sons of Hermann. He is preceded in death by his mother and father. He is survived by sisters,

Catherine Shumway and husband Charlie, Madonna Morris and Alon Dieter. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive as well as dear friends Roy and

Mona Hoiland. Memorial contributions canbe made to hospice or a cancer foundation. A memorial service will be held in October so all friends

can attend. A date will be announced later.
