New Band Director Takes the Lead at LGISD

This year’s LGHS marching band halftime music “will rock,” according to new band director, Keith Riley. The custom program “Rock
Phases” will feature musical themes from the ‘60s and ‘70s arranged by Barry Hurt Music of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, “a small business dedicated to
marching band arrangements.” The shows will evolve musically as the season progresses, Riley said.
