School to Offer Free Breakfast for All Kids

They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, yet many students come to school with an empty stomach. This school year La Grange
ISD will participate in the Universal Free Breakfast Program. In the past, LGISD charged $1.30 for breakfast to students who did not qualify for the free
or reduced lunches. Those who qualified for reduced lunches were charged $.30 and those who qualified for free lunches received a free breakfast. The
problem was that many of the students were not participating in the program.
