Six Hay Fires in Last Month
Six hay-related fires were reported in the last month to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. The first big hay fire came last month when conditions were still moist. That June 19 fire in Holman burned up about 550 round bales inside a hay barn. The fire started from sparks while workers were welding on the side of the barn
