Lillie Emily (Bohot) Foerster

Lillie Emily (Bohot) Foerster, 95 of Giddings, died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2015 at Seton Medical Center Williamson in Round Rock. Lillie was born on March 1, 1920 in Paige to Ben and Lena (Goerlitz) Bohot. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Foerster; son and daughter-inlaw, Jack and Jeanene Newsom; granddaughter-in-law, Kathy Newsom; two brothers, Herbert Bohot and George Bohot; three sisters, Annie Grimm, Selma Hensel and Minnie Christiansen; brother-in- law, Arvel Foerster and sister-in-law, Pearlie Jordon. Lillie is survived by three grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson, as well as other close family and friends. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2015 at the First Baptist Church in Giddings with Rev. Mike Habermehl officiated. Burial followed in the Giddings City Cemetery. Phillips and Luckey Funeral Home in Giddings was in charge of arrangements.
