Furniture is a necessity. Furniture created by an artist is a luxury. When made by an artist, furniture is elevated from a requirement, to a desire. The sheer beauty of wood and metal shaped and worked by an artist is a wonder. Boards and cinder blocks will hold your books, but a beautifully designed and artisan- crafted bookcase is art.
