In the Tower With the ‘Clock Doc’

Tuesday afternoon I followed clockmaker Gene Galbraith up a flight of stairs to the second floor of the Precinct 2 courthouse on the Fayetteville square, then up a crude wooden ladder onto a small landing and finally two steps on a temporary stepladder to the threshold of the clockroom.
