Making Sweet Music, Even After 150 Years

The patrons packed the parlor to hear a 150-year old piano played at the historic Faison House in La Grange on Sunday afternoon Oct. 4. The concert celebrated the restoration of the Knabe square grand piano that came to the house in the 1880s. Restoration of the piano was sponsored by Stewart Chuber, of Schulenburg, in honor of the concert career of his wife Anne (Muffin) Chuber. Six Chuber family members and friends were in attendance.
