Ballew

Ann S. Ballew, 76, of Austin, formerly of La Grange, died peacefully at her residence Oct. 10, 2015.Ann was born in Portland, Ore., to Frank and Marjorie Rodibaugh, who preceded her in death. Ann was gifted with many talents. Her creativity was displayed in her many forms of artwork and doll making. She also enjoyed collecting dolls and reading, and loved her special pets. Ann owned Ballew Art Studio and The Shirt Factory while residing in Liberty.  She opened Beulah Art Gallery while living in Mexico, Mo. Life was a challenge that she met daily, supported by her loving husband and devoted children. Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years, R. Creel Ballew; sons, Todd Ballew of St. Paul, Minn., and Marc Ballew and his wife, Jennifer, of Palestine; daughter, Cheryl Ballew of Austin, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.The family will hold a private memorial service and requests memorials be made in her honor to your local Humane Society.
