A Strange Saga of Muddy Fires

People usually don’t worry about grass fires when it’s wet enough to get a truck stuck in the mud. But after last week, Fayette County firefighters might tell you differently. County officials lifted a long-standing burn ban last Sunday, October 25, after the remnants of Hurricane Patricia dumped over ten inches of rain across the county.
