Shiner Ends Flatonia’s Football Playoff Run

The Shiner football team isn’t flashy, just successful. Without even attempting a single pass Friday, undefeated Shiner downed Flatonia 41-7 in the third round of the 2A football playoffs Friday in El Campo. Behind the strength of its veer offense, Shiner rushed for 411 yards on 52 carries, led by a four-touchdown, 225-yard night from junior Dadrian Taylor.
