Officers Track Down Human Smuggler

The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office K-9 team apprehended a suspected human smuggler on Interstate 10 Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 2. According to a report from Lt. David Beyer of the Sheriff’s Office, the stop happened at around 1:30 p.m. at the eastbound rest area on I-10 near the Gonzales County line west of Flatonia.
