Felon Drives Off Cliff Into Blue Branch Creek After Police Chase

A convicted felon wanted by the U.S. Marshal’s Service got away after leading La Grange Police on a dramatic chase Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 8, but was found the next day hiding in a closet at his girlfriend’s apartment. The suspect, 29-year-old Reginald Bursey of Columbus, escaped custody after driving his vehicle into a 40-foot ravine and crashing upside down into a creek near the Colorado River southeast of La Grange.
