KOLKHORST “BOILING” OVER AG FEE INCREASES

Texas Agriculture Commissioner Sid Miller faced tough questions from lawmakers Tuesday over his plan to hike fees for a host of licenses, registrations and services that his agency provides. “I’m really boiling inside, and I don’t know who to be mad at,” Sen. Lois Kolkhorst, R-Brenham, said at a hearing of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Water and Rural Affairs.
