Ronnie Lee Carroll

Ronnie Lee Carroll, 67, of La Grange, formerly of Waxahachie, died Dec. 20, 2015 at St. Mark’s Medical Center in La Grange. Graveside service were held on Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2015 at 2 p.m. from Waxahachie City Cemetery with Rev. Sam Redfern officiating. Ronnie was born on May 31, 1948 to Arthur Vane and Rosa Lea (Graham) Carroll Sr. in Red Bluff, Calif. He was Baptized at Grand Avenue Baptist Church in Waxahachie. He worked as a meat processor and meat cutter for Tom Thumb in Dallas. Ronnie also worked with horses for the King Ranch in Waxahachie. Ronnie served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War. Survivors include: sister-in-law; Kathryn Carroll of Burton, TX, brother-in-law; David Stevens of Gainesville, TX. Nieces and nephews; Clint Carroll, Kristina and Dennis Newton, and Cody and Raellen Carroll, William Hinkle, Carrie Smith, Amber Brown and extended family Margie Mertz, and Nina Herrmann, Sherry Slaughter Carroll, Dan and Dale Slaughter, and Jimmy and Virdie Slaughter.
