Priorities

Cooking was never a priority when I was growing up. I’m not talking about eating. Eating was always a priority, but cooking, not so much. Eating out was actually more the ”norm” at our house. Apparently, during the courting phase of my parents’ relationship, my mom told my dad she didn’t like to cook and really didn’t know how. He responded by telling her that she wouldn’t have to cook if she married him and she took him at his word.
