The Truth is Less Painful

They say honesty is the best policy and I believe that to be true. It’s a policy I have tried to live by and one I tried to instill in my children. Now, I’m not saying that I have never told a lie, but I have learned that telling the truth can keep you from getting into more trouble in the long run. The epiphany for me happened when I was a young girl, I think about age 9 or 10.
