Anita Perry Aids Round Top Neighbor Who Shot Himself

By H.H. HOWZE  Like a good neighbor, Anita Perry was there. Perry, the wife of former governor Rick Perry, and Linda Weber, the Perry’s neighbor were standing next to a 2015 Suburu Outback in the Perry driveway early Saturday evening while Weber’s husband Joe attempted to “clear his weapon,” a .45 caliber pistol, while sitting in the vehicle. The weapon fired and a slug went into the side of Weber’s left foot and out the bottom.
