Eva Lee Tonn

Funeral services for Eva Lee Tonn, 97, of La Grange will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton with Pastor Marcia Kifer officiating. An interment service will follow at the Florida Chapel Cemetery Pavillion in Round Top. Eva Lee was born Sept. 25, 1918 in Warrenton to Alfred and Katy Alhorn Marburger. She married Robert Tonn on Jan. 12, 1941 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Warrenton. He preceded her in death on May 23, 2011. Eva Lee was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church. She loved sewing and quilting. She is survived by three nieces: Pat Delk and her husband, Bill of Austin, Gwen Dykes, and her husband, Joe of Buda, and Louann Stokes of Spring; two great-nephews, Brandon Dykes, and Tim Stokes; and one greatniece, Amy Delk. Eva Lee was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one sister, Vivian Klatt Braun. Family suggests memorials to: St. John’s Lutheran Church, 4446 State Highway 237, Round Top, Texas 78954. Fayette Memorial Funeral Home in La Grange was in charge of arrangements.
