Paula Mae (Siebel) Ehlert

Paula Mae (Siebel) Ehlert, 79, of La Grange, died Sunday, May 29, 2016. Paula was born in La Grange on Dec. 16, 1936, the daughter of Woodrow and Pauline (Goldammer) Siebel. Paula worked at Fayette Memorial Hospital for twelve years; and worked as a nurse for Dr. Keilers. She taught Lamaze  classes for the couples that were expecting in the La Grange area. Her many hobbies included sewing and jewelry making. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and dancing. Paula was a member of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church. She is survived by daughter, Ann Steinhauser of La Grange, and daughter-in-law, Debi Steinhauser of Bastrop; three grandchildren: Abby, Jessica and Matthew Steinhauser; and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, A. C. Steihauser; second husband, Richard Ehlert; and son, Mark Steinhauser. Private services will be held.
