Remember When?

June 17-21, 1966 A 66-year-old farmer was fatally injured in a truck-tractor collision on the East Navidad Bridge on Hwy. 90 at 8:50 a.m. Monday. William Raymond Bednarz, driving an Allis-Chalmers tractor that was pulling a rake, was hit from behind by a gasoline transport truck out of Victoria. A negligent homicide charge was filed in county court against the driver.
