Aline M. Oppermann

Aline M. Oppermann, 88, of Caldwell, died Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at the Oakland Manor in Giddings. Aline M. Wilhelm was born to Harman and Mary (Ramm) Wilhelm on June 18, 1928 in Somerville. She was a graduate of Caldwell High School and married Emil Herman Oppermann on June 3, 1947. Aline and Emil were blessed with two children Cynthia and Bruce Oppermann. She is survived by her children; son, Bruce Oppermann and wife Tamara; and daughter, Cynthia Zwernemann and husband Rudy; and grandchildren, Brittney and Carey Johnson, Briana and Lance Larson, Nole and Malia Oppermann, Amber and Andrew Oakley, Mike and Michelle Zwernemann, Shari and John Beck, and Sharon and Curtis Albrecht; 12 great-grandchildren, and many extended family. A graveside service was held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016 in the pavilion at the Masonic Cemetery in Caldwell. Pastor Terry Moon presided over services. Phillips & Luckey Funeral Home in Caldwell was in charge of arrangements.
