Remember When?

La Grange civic leaders received a thorough briefing on the Texas Water Plan and a series of forthcoming hearings pertaining to the Colorado River. John Babcock, supervisor of research and development for the Lower Colorado River Authority, explained that the Texas Water Plan was an overall projection of state water needs to the year 2020, while the Texas Water Project sought to transfer surplus water from northeast Texas to the arid southwest regions of the state.
