Remember When?

August 23-30 1966 Low bids totaling $887,901 were accepted for the new 60-bed Fayette Memorial Hospital. Cloud Construction Co. of Temple was chosen as general contractor; V.E. Wattinger Co. of Austin for plumbing; Brenham Heating and Air Conditioning Co. for heating, venting and air conditioning; Ahr Electric Co. of Austin for electrical; and West Texas Coffee and Equipment for kitchen equipment.
