East Bernard Snaps Schulenburg’s Four-Game Win Streak

The Schulenburg Shorthorns saw their four-game win streak snapped Friday by one of the best 3A teams around.

East Bernard beat Schulenburg 42-20 to drop the Shorthorns overall record to 4-2 and their district mark to 1-1.

East Bernard improved to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in district with the victory.

Schulenburg’s Joshua Brown threw touchdown passes to Miles Marburger and Davonn Granger and Brown also ran for another touchdown, but it was not enough as East Bernard rolled up 420 total yards of offense.

The Shorthorns host Danbury, which is 0-3 in district, this Friday.
