Schulenburg Rolls by Danbury 40-7

The Shorthorns are really starting to look at home in the world of 3A football.

Schulenburg, in its first year in Class 3A, blasted Danbury 40-7 Friday to improve to 5-2 overall and 2-1 in district. 

Zach Rast rushed for four touchdowns for the Shorthorns, and Rhett Ahrens and Joshua Brown also ran for scores.

The Shorthorn defense limited Danbury to just 114 total yards and Schulenburg’s Jack Seyl, Abriel Garcia and Rast all intercepted Danbury passes.

Schulenburg plays at Boling this week.
